Bug in 15.2.2 Level 2 Menus?  en

Author: Dave G.

Using 15.2.2 with main menu set to 15 pt font and Level 2 menus set to 10 pt font with both set to left start for text. When viewing the level 2 menu the current page displayed menu item displays in 15 pt and centered in the menu. For example a Level 1 menu containing Contacts with a page of FAQ and viewing the FAQ page the FAQ menu item displays as 15 pt and centered and could not find a setting defining or to correct this behaviour.

't works here as expected.

do you have in step 1 webpage adres, correct?

is it in preview? try preview wiyh ctrl button.

Is it online, refresh page, else do a full uppload and refresh page with F5

What I do see is that the levels are in 15 pt even in the sublevels but left outlined. I would not mind that it makes it more easy to select but it should be in 10pt instead of 15

Thanks Andre, the behavior occurs both in preview and online and can be observed @ dev.atfonline.com.au.

From your own observation I think you would agree the menu is not working correctly and while could potentially be ok with the larger font the centering of the menu item is also problematic.

I had not changed the menu since the 14.x release and now with 15.2.2 this behaviour appeared? It appears to myself that the second level menu for the page being viewed is behaving as the first level menu without any configuration for this behaviour?

The level 2 menu of current page uses the settings of the main menu, which is definitly a bug. I reported it and it is known and accepted by INCO. I wonder there are not more complaints about this and that the 15.2.2 is not withdrawn.

I think this is a style inheritance problem for the current page from the main menu ... the css style has been removed or confused by the name of the selector or identifier...

Cool work by in-comedia...
