I can open existing projects within in X5 however, if I try to import a site I get to 5% and it fails. If I go to where the site is saved on my hard drive and double click it I am getting a message that says
'An error occured while running the program. Please reinstall the program (Config error: comments and ratings).
Do not want to reinstall as this may mean I can no longer get to my existing project sites which I need access to daily.
Saw others have had the same problem since the last update, any ideas how to fix?

Steve, are you importing from iwzip or simply opening an existing project?
Could it be that you need to update the Comments and Ratings optional object?

I am double clicking on a iwzip file on my hard drive which would normally open up the X5 programme and allow me to work on the website. This is when i get the error message. I have then tried to import the file which fails at 5%. So to try the fix above requires me to open the file. This was working fine before the last update. I really need to be able to open these files for customer updates.
Was the upgrade from v2020.3.4 or v2020.2.?
If from the earlier version you can download it from your profile and it will coexist so you can keep working.

It was the upgrade from 3.4. It is also doing it for websites created in 3.6. The above is a short term fix but sitescreated in 3.6 will not open in a previous version. Can this be looked at by the technical department please.

Import has started to work again.
Sadly no project can ever be opened in an earlier version which is why I make frequent iwzip files (I append the date at creation time so I have multiple fallbacks)
I am also paranoid, so I download every new version and keep it (from my profile) in case I need it.
I am pleased all is well.
