New Paypal commerce platform not respnding.  en

I'm using the latest version of X5 pro and was recently prompted to upgrade my shopping cart to the newer Paypal commerce platform.

This I did and it confirmed that I was correctly connected to my correct Paypal account. Except that when a customer clicks on the (new) Paypal button at checkout, a 'timer' window pops up for 1sec and disappears, leaving the page as it was so it is impossible to complete a purchase. I  have 'upgraded' two sites, with identical results. Paypal is proving slow to respond and I'm losing sales. Does anyone have any suggestions....?

Yes - exactly...and the 'Payment Type' window confirms that I'm correctly connected to my Paypal merchant account.

I've received a response from PayPal Technical Services: he says 'Effectively an order ID is not being passed into the SDK, so something is failing on your server side call to create the order. As a point of reference, please have your developer review https://developer.paypal.com/docs/api/orders/v2 in order to invoke the proper parameters into the API request.'

Can someone from Incomedia help resolve this, please?

Strange that it works for most users here.

Try a full upload, in the meantime i will set this post for incomedia to read, but be patient it might be after  the w-end.

Maybe another user can help? I think the website adress would also help.

I've done a full re-upload on both sites and both check-outs are working perfectly now. An update came through this morning, that I see has added some new boxes for completion before check-out, and it looks like the glitch has been addressed as well. Relief!! Thanks Andre, for your input.

Try installing the latest update and then re-uploading the entire site - I suspect the fix is in the update.

Please be more clear about i have tried everything, this is for me hard to understand what you have done.

As barry suggested, do a full uppload. Did you set your webpage correct https and not http in x5?

Hi David. Mercadopago isn't listed as an option under the Shopping Cart Payment Type options, so I guess that it's not available on X5. It looks like it might only be available on MercadoLibre, which appears to be based in Argentina.....
