Hi, I wonder what is the purpose of having <name> Attribute as an option in the forms?

I was trying to use it to place the "name" inside the email subject with no luck.

I know how to work with the "Database field name" but I don't understand the purpose of the other command.

Please help.

Regards,

Julio Fondeur

Then set your first post with the settings wheel to private, then only they will see and answer.

But i doubt it will be different, because the coding works the same for evrybody.

Hi Julio,

thank you for getting in touch.

In the HTML code, this attribute refers to the name the parameter will take on when, for instance, a message is sent via contact form. If a create a contact form including a field called "username", so in the code this parameter will be identified by  the <name> attribute "username".

Of course, if you don't plan on using custom code, you don't have to fill in this field.

Please let me know if I can be of further help. Kind regards.
