I was testing sending an email via form on one of our websites and got an error message. I called my ISP IPOWER and they said it is due to PHP. Their current PHP version was 7.4. And it appears that the PLUG IN on the WEBSITE X5 Email form is incompatible with the PHP 7.4. So they downgraded our PHP to 7.1 and now it works. They suggested that we speak to WEBSITE X5 and ask them if they have an updated PLUG IN for Email Forms that would be compatible with PHP 7.4?

How do I proceed? I would like to have Website X5 using the latest PHP (and have the ISP set PHP up to 7.4 or upgrade as time goes by).
What do you suggest?

Hello Samuel,
Ask to your provider if they can put "off" all PHP warning & error messages to see if the situation is better.
Or maybe you can do that by yourself with your admin panel provides with your hosting.
Enjoy!
Axel
Are you using an older WSX5 version than 2020.1 ?
If yes, there can be problems with newer PHP versions. But if you are using the latest WSX5 version 2021.3. then it is compatible up to PHP 8.0.
