Website X5 Home page can't connect  en

Since the last two updates have arrived, my Home screen has the error 'OOps! I can't connect' - yet the software clearly can connect as it is happily downloading updates and shows my user ID and credits status correctly.  I've checked firewall settings - although it can't be that if the rest of the program is connecting.  Has anyone any ideas how to get the Home page back?

Hello. Try temporarily disabling your antivirus, firewall, and any other protection. Also, don't use a VPN or proxy.

In addition to what Aleksej suggested, please try to change network should you still encounter the same issue. Also, which operating system do you have? Can you connect to our websites (incomedia.eu and websitex5.com) ?

I disabled AV and firewall, but it looks like my Avira software has a new 'web protection' module in it. This was blocking X5.  I've added it to the trusted applications list in here and it's working now - thanks for the help guys
