Poor Image Quality When Inserted Into Page

Hi, I design my images in photoshop, optimise them and then place them into my website. When I preview my site the image is slightly blurry and the text within the image looks blurry too.
I've made sure the image is sized to fit the space in my website so that when Website X5 tries to automatically resize the image, it shouldn't have to resize that much so not reducing image quality. I've made sure that the settings are set to 100. I've tried using jpeg's and gif's.
Any idea how I can improve how my images appear?

That's very strange! Are you adding your images in the template creation section or in the image object? Could you please describe exactly where you are trying to add the image, what you are using to add it and eventually please attach one to this post and I will test it myself.
