When attempting to download one of the free templates, it starts "downloading and installing" then a pop up appears "It is not possible to complete the download"

i have check all windows updates are completed and installed and also tried with the firewall switched off

i can download  the ' blank' templates but not free templates

Enough room on your pc? Try a restart of pc.

I just downloaded with same version with no problem.

I have the same problem with Version 15 Prof, with Version 14 Prof  no problem.  The templates are not flagged with FREE as they are in Version 14. On a few templates download is possible.

Can you provide a template name that does not work so I / we can test this?

Hi David, 

I am very sorry for this inconvenience. 

First close the program. Then, please go to C: \ Users \ YourUserName \ AppData \ Local \ Incomedia \ WebSite X5 v15- Evolution and delete the "Templates" folder.

Next, enter the Libraries folder. Here, you will find a file called "templates.xml", please deletes this file, too. After that you can start the program and try again.

having tried what elisa suggested,   there are still problems:

some examples

can load Business 1 template, technology template 2

cannot load business  4,15 or 18 technology 6

are there any other Windows users in C: \ Users \? 

Please try to reinstall the program again after having deleted the WebSite X5 v15- Evolution folder in  C: \ Users \ YourUserName \ AppData \ Local \ Incomedia \

Hi Elisa

problem is now sorted:

there was no other window users

deleted the folder as suggested

uninstalled program from the PC

rebooted the PC then reinstalled the software
