Hello Stephan,

You can certainly write to a database from a dropdown list within a Contact Form in WebSite X5.  You would need to use the 'Send data to a database' option on the 'Send' tab of the Contact Form Object, and name each field on the Contact Form using the Database Field Name option.

If however you are instead asking if a dropdown list can be prepopulated from a database, this is not possible at the present moment.

Please let us know if you require further help.

Kind regards,

Paul

Hello Stephan

It is not quite clear to me what you want but :

You could maybe use a 3. party product as AppGini. See these posts :

Another way is to search the web for a form tool that is integrated with MySQL.

If you could make a description of what the scenario is, then maybe there are more people here in the forum, that can suggest a solution that matches your need.

Thanks, I believe AppGini is going to do exactly what I need to do.

Can you please help to integrate it into x5?
